The house has a wealth of character and charm plus a fascinating history;  the oldest part of the house is Georgian (1676) – not overly large but very spacious to feel relaxed and comfortable, and especially cosy during the autumn and winter months. In the spring/ summer you can relax in the interesting award winning garden or during autumn/winter with a log fire in the large lounge; as well as enjoy the elegant dining room.

For wheelchair users and people with limited mobility, the house has a M2 level rating for accessibility by the English Tourism Council.  The ground floor Day Room can double up as a bedroom with its sofa bed. Attached is a small conservatory  overlooking the garden. Alongside the Day Room is a large en-suite bath and wet room equipped with a toilet facility for the disabled, a shower area and wall seat as well as a bath.

Dining room can seat 20, plus the kitchen/breakfast room has  table seating up to 8 (useful for young families). High chairs available.
